Austin Medical Design introduces the DrapeCaddy anesthesia screen, an extremely lightweight and durable product designed by medical professionals for the safety and comfort of patients undergoing conscious sedation or general anesthesia during procedures which include:
- Permanent Pacemaker and AICD implants
- Central Venous Catheter and PICC line insertion
- Antegrade femoral approach to peripheral interventional procedures
- Hemodialysis catheter insertion and revision, other related procedures
The DrapeCaddy simply slides beneath the mattress pad or head rest, providing the staff members with an unobstructed view of the patient, enhanced sterile integrity, and a more comfortable experience during their procedure.
The DrapeCaddy is mold injected in a TS16949 certified US manufacturing facility from PC/ABS which is considered superior for its durability, high impact resistance, and electrical insulation properties. It is capable of withstanding most industrial cleaning solutions used in today's hospital environment but may become degraded if exposed to acetone solutions for extended periods.
Features include:
- Tandem 1" cutouts at the base of each upright to direct or secure anesthesia tubing, defibrillator cables, ECG cables and lead wires, and IV tubing
- Gator clips to secure sterile drape to the DrapeCaddy frame
- Requires no costly Clark sockets or clamps to secure device to angio/surgical table
- Easily cleaned between procedures
